Community Safety Partnership (CSP)

Rochford & Castle Point Community Safety Partnership ( CSP)

The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 placed a joint responsibility upon specific agencies to work together, and with other agencies within the community, to develop and implement strategies to protect their communities from crime and help people feel safe.

As a leading member of the CSP, Rochford District Council is firmly committed to tackling crime and disorder and reducing the fear of crime in the District.

Other statutory members are from the following key agencies:

  • Essex Police
  • Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Essex County Council
  • Essex County Fire and Rescue Service
  • Castle Point Borough Council
  • National Probation Service

Each year the CSP must produce a Strategic Assessment, an analysis of community safety information and data across Rochford District and Castle Point. This year's strategic assessment (which identifies key priorities for the CSP) and Action Plan for 2019-20 can be found in the Related Content section.

Outcomes from last year’s (2018/19) plan can be found in the Related Content section
