Development Plan Documents (DPDs)
These documents form part of the development plan for the District. They contain the policies which planning applications are assessed against.

Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans
These documents assess the value and character of each area and make recommendations on the future management of each of the District’s 10 Conservations Areas.
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs)
These documents contain advice and guidance on how the policies in the development plan should be interpreted when planning applications are being assessed. They do not form part of the development plan and do not set policy.
Statement of Community Involvement
This document sets out how the Council will involve the community in the plan-making process.
