In addition, Rochford District Council’s Safeguarding Policy sets out our roles and responsibilities in working together with other professionals and agencies in promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults with needs for care and support and safeguarding them from abuse and neglect.

How to report a concern

If you have any concerns about a child, or adult with needs for care and support you can call Essex County Council - on 0345 603 7627 in regard to a child or 0345 603 7630 in regard to an adult.

If you need any guidance of where to go for help you can contact us on 01702 546366 asking to speak to the Safeguarding Lead or Deputy Lead
