These documents contain advice and guidance on how the policies in the development plan should be interpreted when planning applications are being assessed. They do not form part of the development plan and do not set policy.

This document sets out how the Council will involve the community in the plan-making process.
New Local Plan
A new Local Plan is in the process of being prepared, and is expected to run from the end of the District’s current development plan, beginning in 2025. It will set development policy and aspirations for the District until 2040.
