Rochford and Castle Point Sports Awards
This annual event recognises and rewards talented athletes, clubs and volunteers and takes place in November. The nomination process opened in June and nomination forms and further details are available in Related Content.
Sports Taster sessions and Festivals
Active Rochford delivers a number of taster sessions throughout the year culminating in a summer sports festival. Information on these sessions will appear on these pages when the details are available.
Companies and organisations across Essex are invited to take part in the ‘Workplace Challenge’. The aim of the programme is to promote sport, physical activity and health improvements across England’s workplaces. Sign Up to record your sport and physical activity online to receive points – and points make prizes! But it’s not about winning, ‘spot prizes’ are offered as part of a draw simply by taking part and trying to improve your fitness. Further information is available in Related Content.
Disability Sports Club
A Disability Sports Club takes place at The Deanes Sports Centre every Tuesday evening. The club is a joint project between Active Rochford, Active Castle Point, the Castle Point & Rochford School Sport Partnership and Active Essex.
