The charges for the car parks below apply from 7a.m. to 7p.m., Monday to Friday and 7a.m. to 1p.m. on Saturday. Parking is free all day Sunday and public holidays.

Short Stay - 10 spaces

Old Ship Lane car park, Rochford, is designated 'short stay'. The maximum permitted time is 4 hours. Multiple ticket purchases for periods exceeding 4 hours is prohibited. Season ticket holders are not permitted to use this car park. The charges are shown below.

Parking Charges

30-minutes free parking trial will run from 1st September until 30th November 2025

• Up to 30mins 85p, free from Sept 1st*
• Up to 1 hour £1.40
• Up to 2 hours £2.35
• Up to 3 hours £3.30
• Up to 4 hours £4.20

*One free 30-minute parking ticket is permitted per vehicle per day, providing a valid ticket is obtained from the Pay & Display Ticket Machine and is clearly displayed in the windscreen. Please see machine for details. This comes into play from Sept 1st.

If you receive a Penalty Charge Notice, it will contain information regarding payment on the reverse.
