Work to replace the fire alarm system at Mill Arts & Events Centre in Rayleigh is due to start next week (Monday 18 December). The work is expected to be completed in the New Year.
To allow the work to take place, the building will be closed to the public during the day on weekdays, whilst the contractors are on site.
Fire marshals will remain on site for evening and weekend bookings, which will go ahead. The top floor of the building will remain unavailable for bookings until the works have been completed.
