Previous Air Quality Management areas (AQMA)

Rawreth Industrial Estate – Status - REVOKED

In 2010, we created an AQMA - Air Quality Management Area because of the number of days that the area experienced high levels of fine dust known as PM10.

This followed a short consultation period which included local residents, businesses, the Environment Agency, and other Councils.

On 19 March 2013, following results from monitoring the air quality during 2011 and 2012, we revoked the AQMA.

Therefore, the Air Quality Action Plan which had been put out to public consultation was not made formal.

Copies of the reports and Orders about the creation and revocation of the AQMA at Rawreth Industrial Estate are available in the Related Content section.

Essex Air is the air quality website for all the Councils in Essex and can be found in the Related Content section.
