Chairman’s Christmas Card competition

Calling all school aged children in Rochford! Rochford District Council’s Chairman, Cllr Jack Lawmon is inviting you to design a Christmas card as part of the annual competition.

To participate, pupils must create a design that incorporates the theme of ‘Christmas Stockings’. The winning design will be featured on the front of the Chairman's official Christmas card this year, which will be sent out to dignitaries throughout Essex.

Chairman of Rochford District Council, Councillor Jack Lawmon said: “I would like to invite all school aged children from around the Rochford District to design my 2023 Christmas Card. I am sure that we will receive some outstanding entries as we have so many talented and creative children within our district.

“Whether your design are stockings hanging by the fire overlooking the river Crouch or a stocking decorated with your favourite Rochford District Landmarks. I want to see your interpretation of Christmas stockings. This is your opportunity to let your Christmas spirit shine.”

The winning designer will receive a £50 Amazon gift voucher, and our two runners up will receive £10 Amazon gift vouchers. The deadline for entries is midday Friday, 24 November 2023.
