Are you recruiting seasonal staff for the festive period or expanding your team with new roles? Brentwood Borough Council is inviting local employers to apply for a free stand at the upcoming Jobs, Skills & Health Event, taking place on Thursday 9 October from 10am to 1pm at the Brentwood Centre.
Organised in partnership with Brentwood Jobcentre Plus and the NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System, the event brings together businesses, training providers and health professionals to connect directly with jobseekers. It’s a valuable opportunity to promote vacancies, showcase training programmes, offer wellbeing support and engage with the local community in person.
With hundreds of attendees expected, the event provides a platform to discover new talent, raise your organisation’s profile and network with fellow employers across the borough.
Councillor David Kendall, Chair of the Finance and Resources Committee at Brentwood Borough Council said: “The Brentwood Jobs, Skills & Health Event offers a brilliant chance for local employers to engage directly with job seekers and highlight the roles they have available. Whether you're recruiting for the festive season or growing your team, this event provides a valuable space to connect with potential candidates. We’re proud to bring together businesses, training organisations, health professionals and residents to support employment, skills development and wellbeing across our community."
Training providers and health professionals are also invited to book a stand, particularly those offering support for individuals returning to work or seeking health and wellbeing services.
