FREE Family Fun Day Across Rochford – at The FRIGHT HOUSE!
Join The Design Cabin Community C.I.C on Saturday 1st November for a spooktacular day of free family fun taking place throughout the whole town of Rochford, finishing with activities and entertainment at The Freight House!
Start your adventure with the Rochford Halloween Trail — a spooky walking route that takes you across the town!
Uncover gruesome tales from Rochford’s past, meet some scary characters, and solve clues at different locations along the way.
How it works:
- Collect your trail map from Rochford Library.
- Follow the stops marked on the map across the town to gather clues and solve riddles.
- Once you’ve completed the trail, head back to The Freight House to claim your prize and enjoy the rest of the day’s fun
Please note: The trail is self-guided and can be completed at your own pace. Live actors will be appearing along the trail between 10am and 1pm only.
At The Freight House (10am–2.45pm):
- Bouncy castle
- Face painting
- Craft activities
- Screen printing
- Pumpkin carving competition
- Drumming workshop

Stick around for a special Halloween cinema screening of Hocus Pocus at 3pm and Nightmare Before Christmas at 6pm! (ticket fees apply).
