Sponsors announced for the Rochford District Council Business Awards 2023

The Council is pleased to announce our headline sponsor for the Rochford District Business Awards 2023 as Toomey Motor Group, which has an extensive and longstanding business presence within the District.

The Rochford District Business Awards 2023 in association with Toomey Motor Group will help to support and celebrate the wealth of business talent and entrepreneurs within the Rochford District.

The Council is also delighted to announce the following sponsors who are supporting individual award categories:

  • The Micro Business of the Year award is sponsored by 3 Chambers.
  • The SME of the Year is sponsored by FSB.
  • Colbea is sponsor of the Entrepreneur of the Year award.
  • Colbea is also joining with REBA to sponsor the Environmental Impact Award.
  • Start-Up Business of the Year is sponsored by Backing Essex Business.
  • The Community Impact Award is sponsored by Castle Point and Rochford Health & Well Being Board.
  • The Innovative Business of the Year is sponsored by Oxford Innovation Space.

The nomination process for the awards has now closed and the judges have been hard at work sifting through the nominations across the ten categories.

Steven Decelis, Group CEO, of Toomey Motor Group, headline sponsor of the awards, said:

There are three further categories: Apprentice of the Year, Employee Contribution of the Year and Social Enterprise of the Year.

Cllr Danielle Belton, Portfolio Holder for Climate and Economy, Rochford District Council, said:

Cllr Belton, Phil Drane, Director of Place at Rochford District Council and Paul Wilkins, Representative of 3 Chambers and Interim Chair of Rochford Chambers of Trade, will be the judges across the awards.

The awards will be handed out at a ceremony at Apton Hall on Thursday 26th January 2023.
