Join Southend CCG at its Governing Body meeting in public

 

NHS Southend Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be holding its next Governing Body meeting in public on Wednesday 29 January 2020.

Members of the public are invited to attend.

The meeting will be held at 2.00pm in Committee Room 4, at the Civic Centre, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Victoria Avenue, Southend SS2 6ER

Photographic Workshop

 

As part of this year’s Rochford Art Trail, Rochford Library is holding a photo editing workshop on Saturday 16th September at 10:30am.

This is a free session, booking required.

Drop-in fostering information event

 

Do you want to find out more about fostering? Come along to the drop-in information event and discover how you could help build brighter futures for children in Essex by becoming a foster carer.

You’ll hear the inspiring stories of our existing foster carers, discover more about the type of children who need fostering and be able to ask any questions.

Pop by and join us anytime between 11am and 2pm.

Rayleigh Horticultural Society Autumn Show

 

Rayleigh Horticultural Society Autumn Show to be held at The Mill Arts & Events Centre, Bellingham Lane, Rayleigh. Classes include flowers, fruit, vegetables, floral art, photography, cookery, crafts and children's classes.

Items from the society's Trading Store will be on sale, together with other stalls.

Four workshops delivered over 4 days, each workshop runs for 2.5 hours - For children living in Great Wakering - Cameras will be provided on the day!

Hullbridge Gardens Association 68th Annual Flower & Vegetable show

 

All welcome to enter the numerous flower & vegetable show classes .. also includes various Domestic & Children’s classes.

Entries accepted on Fri 30th August evening (18.30 – 20.30) & Sat 31st August morning (08.30 – 10.00) ..

Cost to exhibit : 25p/entry/class (Free child entries for Divs. 11-13).

Free viewing after judging from 14.00 to 16.00 hrs on Sat 31st ..

Vulcan Open Day

 

Visit the Vulcan Days are great days out for aircraft enthusiasts and the general public alike. The VRT Team will be on hand to give guided tours of Vulcan XL426 and for an additional fee you can climb inside the Vulcan’s cockpit.

Gates open at 10.00 a.m. on each day with last admission at 4.00 p.m.
