Public drop in session by NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups

Drop in and hear about how NHS Clincial Commissioning Groups are proposing to work together

Following the launch of a discussion document, “Working Together for Mid and South Essex – Share your views on how NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups are proposing to work together,” the local NHS is holding a public drop-in session on Thursday, 5 March between 10am and 12pm at Audley Mills Education Centre (2nd floor), Rayleigh, SS6 7JF.

International Women's Day Event - Southend


Southend is celebrating International Women’s Day in style, with an array of events over the month of March.
When: Sunday 8th March from 2pm to 6pm
Where: The Balmoral Centre, Westcliff-on-Sea SS0 7AU
Who: Eye 2 Eye Promotions for SEACA (South Essex African Caribbean Association)

What: A day of empowerment with local businesses’, unique stalls to inspire and aspire. Making sure we pull out all the stops, there will be raffles, performances, networking and our Guest speaker, Professor Dame Elizabeth Anionwu.

Care Recruitment Fair 2020


Want a career in care? Come and find out more about building a career in the care sector!

It is being held at The Forum, Southend on Sea on 5 March - 4pm-630pm

There will be over 30 stalls attending from various different range of roles in the care industry. This event gives attendees the chance to meet the companies before applying for the roles and find out more about starting a career in care or progressing to other roles. 

This is a free event run by Southend Borough Council

Sout East Essex Sepsis support group


Recovery following sepsis can take time, both physically and emotionally. If you or a loved one have had sepsis you are welcome to come along to the support group to meet others who may have had similar experiences during their recovery. The groups ar safe, confidential and relaxed meetings that work on the model of peer support. This involves people sharing their experiences, often in a way that is mutually beneficial.

NHS Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS Southend CCG will be holding their next Primary Care Co-Commissioning meeting in common on Wednesday 11 March 2020 at 1.00pm at Audley Mills Education Centre, 57 Eastwood Road, Rayleigh SS6 7JF. This meeting will be held in public. Members of the public are invited to attend.
