Rayleigh High Street will be closed to traffic from Crown Hill for live entertainment, food, drink, vintage stalls, bungee bouncers, simulator ride, childrens rides, bee tent, art display and workshop and classic cars.

Elmer Day at Rochford Library

 

Elmer is a colourful patchwork elephant; you can find him in children’s stories written by David McKee.

Celebrate this year’s Elmer Day at Rochford Library, Saturday 26th May, 10:30-11:30am.

Dress up in your brightest colours and join in a fun Elmer themed event with stories, crafts and games.

SE Essex Organic Gardeners - Seed Potato Day 2020

  The 10th SE Essex Seed Potato Day is a community partnership event with SEEOG, Southend in Transition and Trust Links.   Why not put it in your diary now?   Saturday 23 February 10:00 - 14:00 Growing Together Westcliff, 47 Fairfax Drive (corner of Fairfax Drive and Prittlewell Chase), Westcliff-on-Sea, SS0 9AG

Please use the entrance in Prittlewell Chase.

Free admission   They have currently ordered over 40 varieties of seed potato (some organic), to be sold individually at 20p per tuber (1 free tuber for every 5 bought).   Some onion sets for sale.

Classic Cars and Cream Teas. Celebrating the Queen's

 

Classic cars will be on view on the farm lane and cream teas will be at St Mary's Church across the road. Small quiz and outdoor games for the children will also be at the church. A great afternoon for all the family celebrating the life of the Servant Queen and the King she serves.
