Public drop in session by NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups

Drop in and hear about how NHS Clincial Commissioning Groups are proposing to work together

Following the launch of a discussion document, “Working Together for Mid and South Essex – Share your views on how NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups are proposing to work together,” the local NHS is holding a public drop-in session on Thursday, 5 March between 10am and 12pm at Audley Mills Education Centre (2nd floor), Rayleigh, SS6 7JF.

Care Recruitment Fair 2020


Want a career in care? Come and find out more about building a career in the care sector!

It is being held at The Forum, Southend on Sea on 5 March - 4pm-630pm

There will be over 30 stalls attending from various different range of roles in the care industry. This event gives attendees the chance to meet the companies before applying for the roles and find out more about starting a career in care or progressing to other roles. 

This is a free event run by Southend Borough Council

Sout East Essex Sepsis support group


Recovery following sepsis can take time, both physically and emotionally. If you or a loved one have had sepsis you are welcome to come along to the support group to meet others who may have had similar experiences during their recovery. The groups ar safe, confidential and relaxed meetings that work on the model of peer support. This involves people sharing their experiences, often in a way that is mutually beneficial.

Walk this Way - health walks - Hullbridge


This is a weekly walk and on going from the date above

Want to get more active? Walking is a great way to get fit, explore what's on your doorstep and make new friends. The walks are led by friendly, specially trained volunteers who
are on hand to provide encouragement and support, and make sure no one gets left behind.

Meet in the car park on the corner of Ferry Road and Pooles Lame - Bus route 20.

All walks have a range of distances including 30 minute options.
