Rochford District Community Response Hub update: 20 June -26 June, 2020
The Rochford District Community Response Hub initiative has been mobilised in response to the outbreak of the COVID-19 emergency by the MegaCentre, churches, local food banks, Rayleigh, Rochford and District Association for Voluntary Service (RRAVS), Rochford District Council and over 200 local volunteers from across the district, who have all signed up to support the local community where they can.
In addition to the volunteers answering the calls, there are active volunteers who are carrying out various tasks for residents who do not have friends or family nearby to provide support. The helpline is open to anyone, especially those families where circumstances have changed and a little support is now needed to help them manage.
The helpline is available on 01268 779999
