The Rayleigh Windmill will be open for the extended hours of 10:30am – 4:30pm. Come along to our beautiful 200 year old Grade II listed building, whose volunteers will be delighted to welcome you dressed in traditional costume. There will be opportunities to try your hand at milling flour, do some colouring, and enjoy the stunning views from the top of the three-storey building.
Exhibiting on the second floor will be Daryl Reed, self-taught Artist living in Rayleigh, working in a variety of mediums which include pencil, charcoal, watercolour and oils on canvas. Daryl likes to draw/paint all kinds of subjects, his most common works include family portraits, pet portraits and seascapes with beach scenes being a popular choice.
