Also offering 2 glamorous rooms for members of the wedding party to get ready ahead of the ceremony, cosy charming reception rooms to toast the happy couple and picturesque gardens perfect for photographs, our venue is a definite must-see!
Rochford District Council’s Portfolio Holder for the Community, Cllr Mike Webb, said: “The Old House is such an important part of our local heritage, and there is true feeling of grandeur to its main hall which dates back almost 750 years.
“This open day is a unique opportunity to come and view one of the oldest buildings in Essex, admire its original oak beams and preserved fireplace, and see it in its full glory dressed for a wedding ceremony.
“This intimate venue is perfect for those couples who are looking for that very special place to have one of the most important days of their lives”.
