Land west of Little Wakering Road and South of Barrow Hall Road, Great Wakering

The Council has received an outline planning application for the residential development of up to 120 dwellings on land to the rear of frontage development to Southend Road and Little Wakering Road and opposite frontage development to Barrow Hall Road, Great Wakering.

The application is an outline application with all matters reserved apart from access to the site.  In the determination of this outline application the Council will have to decide whether the proposed quantum of development is acceptable and consider other issues relating to matters including flood risk, highways impacts, archaeology and ecology.  Detailed matters including those relating to siting, scale, layout, appearance and landscaping would be considered in a later reserved matters application which would follow if outline permission were granted.

Supporting information has been submitted relating to a number of planning matters including but not limited to; Flood Risk and Drainage, Highways, and Ecology.
