Land Between Star Lane and Alexandra Road, South of High Street, Great Wakering

Following the approval on the 28th July 2017 of the outline planning application, reference 16/00668/OUT, the Council has now received a reserved matters planning application for the residential development of up to 180 dwellings on land known as ‘Land Between Star Lane and Alexandra Road, South of High Street, Great Wakering’. The exact site to which the proposal relates can be viewed online by following the link to the ‘Location Plan’ in the 'Documents' tab

Under consideration are the detailed matters relating to the design, appearance, landscape, layout and scale of the development. 

The application form, plans and other supporting documentation submitted by the applicant can be viewed as individual items via the individual links under the 'Documents' tab.

You can also ask to view a hardcopy of the full application including all submitted documents and plans at the Council's reception in South Street, Rochford. The reception is open 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 5:00pm on Friday.

The Council has received an outline planning application for the residential development of up to 180 dwellings on land known as ‘Land Between Star Lane and Alexandra Road, South of High Street, Great Wakering’. The application is an outline application with all matters reserved apart from access to the site.  In the determination of this outline application the Council will have to decide whether the proposed quantum of development is acceptable and consider other issues relating to matters including flood risk, highways impacts, archaeology and ecology.  Detailed matters including those relating to scale, layout, appearance and landscaping would be considered in a later reserved matters application which would follow if outline permission were granted.

Supporting information has been submitted relating to a number of planning matters including but not limited to; Flood Risk and Drainage, Highways, and Ecology.
