#Emily Yule is currently Director of Law, Governance and Regulatory Services at Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils and is the Monitoring Officer for both councils. She brings significant strategic leadership experience and expertise in governance and democratic services.

Chief Executive of Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council, Jonathan Stephenson, said “We are thrilled to welcome Emily to Brentwood and Rochford and we can’t wait for her to get started in this key role as part of our unique partnership."

Emily Yule added "I am thrilled to be joining Brentwood and Rochford Councils at this stage of their exciting and ambitious partnership. I am looking forward to bringing my experience and learning from the very successful Babergh and Mid Suffolk partnership to this role."

Emily's appointment was ratified at Full Council meetings at both Brentwood and Rochford last month and she will be joining us in October.

Emily takes over from Angela Hutchings who has recently taken up the role of Chief Executive at Castle Point Borough Council.
