Voting by post is an easy and convenient way of voting if you are unable to get to the polling station. Anyone who is registered can apply for a postal vote. You do not need a reason to vote by post. You can apply for a postal vote at any time but your completed application form must be received at the latest by 5pm, 11 working days before an election for it to be valid at that election.
