Rochford District Council recognises its responsibilities
and obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and strives
to provide the best possible service to all in the community.
The site's layout takes into account users who are blind or
visually impaired. It is compatible with popular screen reading

Below are some of the measures we have taken to ensure the
accessibility of this website.
Browsealoud
We have enabled our web site to be used with Browsealoud
software. Speech enabling our web site provides an additional
way of accessing content for people who find it hard to read. This
includes those with dyslexia or learning difficulties, those for
whom English is not their first language, or anyone with a mild
visual impairment.

voice, word pronunciations and speech highlighting. Download the
