Rochford District Council’s Revenues and Benefits team has launched more online facilities designed to give you access to services 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
With the launch of these new online services residents in the District can now report a change of address and also set up a Direct Debit to pay their Council Tax or Business Rates.
The new interactive services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This makes things easier, quicker and more convenient for residents and the whole process is completely safe and secure.

With more than 70 per cent of UK households now having internet access in their homes this is just another example of how Rochford District Council are tailoring services to meet the needs of their residents.
The initiative follows last week’s launch of a new easy-to-use speech recognition payment system meaning customers can now pay their Council Tax or car parking Penalty Charge Notices any time, day or night. This service can be accessed by ringing 0207 1381976.
Rochford District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Council Tax Collection, Benefits and Strategic Housing Functions, Councillor Mrs Tracy Capon said: “This enhanced service represents a significant improvement in public access and is a positive step forward to improving council services.
At some point, most residents in the District will require the services of the Revenues and Benefits department so these improvements will be good news for everyone, even those who do not use the internet as they will find their telephone and counter waiting times are reduced.”
