Following the recent severe weather, you can report damage to the roads to Essex County Council.
Rochford District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Planning and Transportation, Councillor Keith Hudson said: “Essex County Council is responsible for the maintenance of the roads in the District. Following the recent spate of bad weather you may notice that there has been some frost damage, potholes and cracked paving slabs being obvious examples.
Essex County Council will be carrying out urgent inspections and repairs of the road network, but you can help by reporting the potholes outside your home or along your road just as soon as you can. Help us to help you!”
You can report any highway problem online at the Essex County Council website or by telephone: 0845 603 7631 if you do not have the internet.
