Events to celebrate this year’s Book Festival are taking place in Libraries throughout Essex. Included in the programme are the following at Rayleigh and Rochford Libraries.
Monday 15th March at 7.30pm Rayleigh Library are delighted that the Booker nominated author Jon McGregor will be available to talk about his newest novels “So Many Ways to Begin” and “Even the Dogs”.
Rochford Library is particularly looking forward to Essex film maker and producer Tony Klinger’s visit on 19th March at 7.30pm.
Tony has worked with many of the great names of Rock, including The Who and Deep Purple. Tony will be telling the gripping story of filming the last ever concert by The Who with drummer Keith Moon.

Councillor David Finch, Cabinet Member for Adults, Health & Community Wellbeing says “This is a marvellous festival for the whole county. Readers have the opportunity to meet many award winning authors and hear their stories and perhaps pick up a few tips.”
The festival is managed by Essex County Council Libraries in partnership with Essex District and Borough Councils and Thurrock Unitary Council.
