Change to Council opening hours

Posted on 24 November 2009 by admin

There is now more time for residents to visit or call the Rochford District Council offices with a change to opening hours.

clockBoth the Rochford District Council office in South Street and the Civic Suite and Rayleigh Information Centre are now open from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and until 5pm on a Friday.

The change was made to adapt to the needs of the residents of the District, to deliver a more flexible service.

Rochford District Council’s Head of Information and Customer Services, Sarah Fowler, said: “The Council understands that we are here to help our residents in any way we can. By changing the opening hours we offer we are being as effective and responsive as we can be to meeting the needs of our customers. We hope that people in the Rochford District find the changes to the opening hours gives them more opportunity to come in and use the services we offer.

We would also like to remind residents that if they are unable to visit our offices during opening hours our website, www.rochford.gov.uk offers a wide range of services.”
