The Rochford Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is hosting its first Assembly on Monday 20th April at The Lawn, Hall Road, Rochford.
The Rochford Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is a non statutory multi-agency partnership which brings together, at a local level, the different parts of the private, public, community and voluntary sectors. The duty of the LSP is to prepare and implement a single co-ordinated framework of its long term vision for the area, as set out in the Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS), which is being launched at the Assembly.
Our vision in the LSP is ‘Working in partnership to make our District a place which provides opportunities fro the best possible quality of life for all who live, work and visit here’ our aim is to bring this vision into reality by working closely with our partners. Our priority will be the implementation and delivery of the SCS, by working to agreed targets and timetables so that local people see local services working more effectively for their communities.
Our Assembly is an opportunity for us to showcase some of the wonderful projects and initiatives that are being funded by the LSP, a varied and diverse range of projects are being supported by the partnership. Not all of the projects we are supporting will be giving presentations at the Assembly, but those selected will give a good indication of the strong ethos of effective, co-operative partnership engagement and working that the LSP endorses.
