This year, Rochford District Council has been judged as ‘performing well’ in its corporate arrangements for ensuring the quality of its data. 

The Independent Body, the Audit Commission, requires our external auditors, to assess the Council’s arrangements for ‘monitoring and reviewing performance including arrangements to ensure data quality’. 

Scores can range from being ‘below the minimum requirement’ to ‘well above the minimum requirements and embedded’ so for Rochford to score ‘consistently above the minimum requirements and embedded’ was a real achievement.
