2009
The consultation is now closed.
Following initial consultation, including a placecheck event
and online consultation, the Council produced an Issues and
Options version of the Hockley Area Action Plan. This examined the
issues and opportunities for Hockley centre, and suggested
potential ways to address these. Significant potential to increase
the vibrancy and vitality of the centre was identified and the
document set out various options for achieving this.
Your views were sought on these options from 13 February 2009 –
30 April 2009 to help us to assess whether we had fully considered
all the issues and opportunities facing the study area and had
adequately assessed the potential future options for development of
the area.
In order to encourage discussion and consideration of the
matters we presented questions throughout this report. Your
responses to these questions and any other submissions have been
taken forward in inform the next stage of the document.
