Core Strategy Development Plan Document
The Core Strategy is the main, overarching document of the
Rochford District Local Development Framework, a collection of
documents that will determine how the District develops in the
future. It will set out the overall strategy for the District until
2021 and, where appropriate, beyond.
We are now at the submission stage of the Core Strategy, which
has been prepared having regard to public consultation responses.
We have asked for your thoughts and comments throughout the
preparation of the Core Strategy. Previous versions are:
- Core Strategy Issues and Options (2006)
- Core Strategy Preferred Options (2007)
- Core Strategy Revised Preferred Options (2008)
The four iterations of the Core Strategy can be viewed by
selecting the links at the bottom of the page.
The Core Strategy Submission Document will be subject to
examination by the Planning Inspectorate in 2010. The Council
may adopt the Core Strategy if it is found to be sound through this
examination.
