Application Forms and Checklists
On this page you will find links to application forms, guidance notes, and planning application requirements (PAR) by application type. The PAR is a checklist of nationally specified documents that must accompany your application, and a local list of documents that may be required; the requirement to provide documents from the local section of the list will depend on the type of application you are preparing.
If you intend to submit your application electronically through the Planning Portal, you can check the PAR checklists for the type of application you intend to submit. If you are not able to submit your planning application electronically then please download the appropriate form from the list below.
If you are not sure about the documents to enclose with your application please email or call the planning office for advice - the contact details are shown at the bottom of this page. An application which does not include the necessary documents will not be validated.
You will also find a link below that contains detailed notes to explain the information that should be included in the various documents listed in the PAR checklist. Please note on the 17th December 2010 Rochford District Council adopted the Essex County Council document 'Parking Standards: Design and Good Practice (September 2009)' as a Supplementary Planning Document within the Rochford District Council Local Development Framework. This supersedes the guidance regarding parking detailed in the national guidance available below and should be applied to applications for planning permission where details of the parking provision are required. 'Parking Standards: Design and Good Practice (September 2009)' is available from the Related Documents section at the bottom of this page.
