Highways
The majority of issues relating to highways are the
responsibility of Essex County Council. They are responsible for
road safety, lining and signing, road maintenance, street
lighting, road adoption, school crossing controls, safety cameras,
gritting, snow and ice clearance and requests for
yellow-lines etc. To contact the Highways Section, please phone
0845 6037631 or report the fault using Essex County
Council's online reporting tool by clicking

Abandoned Vehicles

Abandoned vehicles are an eyesore and a
detriment to the area and environment they are found in. They can
be dangerous and encourage antisocial behaviour. Rochford District
Council aim to remove abandoned vehicles as quickly as
possible. Do not assume that it has already been
reported!
