Rayleigh Arts Festival

Genevieve Webster and Michael De Souza creators of Rastamouse, at 2011 Arts FestivalThis annual festival offers popular entertainment and high quality arts events for all audiences in various venues around Rayleigh.

The Festival is a week-long event taking place at the Mill Arts & Events Centre, Rayleigh Windmill Museum, Rayleigh High Street and Rayleigh Library.

Events include children’s theatre, art workshops, art exhibitions, performances, street entertainment and a popular youth arts showcase.

The Rayleigh Arts Festival is arranged by Rochford District Council in partnership with a range of organisations. Recent partners include Essex Book Festival, Essex Libraries, Rochford District Schools Partnership Trust, house touring and Essex Cultural Diversity Project.

The Festival is sponsored by Virgin Active and Shop at My Local.
