The Rochford Beer and Cider Festival

 

This annual event organised by the South East-Essex Campaign for Real Ale and is run by volunteers. It is held at The Freight House in Rochford. Nearly 5000 attend over the 5 days. Visitors come from Canada, USA, South Africa and many other countries, as well as many parts of the UK. Every Essex brewery is featured at the festival.

 

The event has nearly 200 real ales, 50 ciders, perries, foreign beer and specialised English bottled beer bar. Food is also available.

 

The Freight House is in Rochford, SS4 1BU, next to the railway station and is just 40 minutes from London (Liverpool Street line)

 

FREE admission to all sessions at the beer festival.

 

This year the 33rd festival will be taking place from Tuesday 22 November until Saturday 26 November.

 

Tuesday 17:30 - 23:00

Wednesday 11:30 - 15:00 and 17:30 - 23:00

Thursday 11:30 - 15:00 and 17:30 - 23:00

Friday 11:30 - 23:00

Saturday 11:30 - 23:00
