the Rochford District. The Network consists of key partners across
the District involved with sport and physical activity
development.
activerochford delivers a number of projects across the District
and also works in partnership with activecastlepoint, sportessex
and the Essex County Council 2012 Legacy Team.

STAR supports two of the most talented athletes in the District
through business sponsorship. For further information on the

Rochford District Sports Awards, sponsored by Virgin
Active
This annual event recognises and rewards talented athletes,
clubs and volunteers. The nomination process runs from the summer
through to September each year. Nomination forms and further
details will appear here during that period.
Disability Sports Club
A Disability Sports Club takes place at The Deanes Sports Centre
every Tuesday evening. The club is a joint project between
activerochford, activecastlepoint, the Castle Point & Rochford
School Sport Partnership and Essex County Council’s Sports Delivery
and 2012 Legacy Team.
