Sport and Physical Activity

Sport and physical activity development at Rochford District Council creates, develops and promotes opportunities for local residents to take part in sport, physical activity and well-being opportunities.

We are the lead organisation on activerochford, the joint Community Activity Network for the Rochford District.

We work in partnership with Virgin Active and Rochford Extended Services to deliver a holiday activity programme during the School holidays.

Weekly health walks are led by volunteer walk leaders and include the 2012 Walking your Way to the Games walks.
