Walking the Way to Health

Health walks in the Rochford District
Rochford District Council coordinates the health walks programme
for both the Rochford District and the Castle Point Borough.
Our Health Walks programme is designed for anyone wishing to
improve their health, meet new people and take part in some fun
physical activity.
We offer half hour and hour long walks led by volunteer fully
trained walk leaders and are free of charge.
The benefits of participating in the walks are:
- Makes you feel good and gives you more energy
- Reduces stress and helps you sleep better
- Keeps your heart strong and reduces blood pressure
- Helps to manage your weight
