Housing Associations

 

Registered Social Landlords (now called Housing Providers) include Housing Associations who are registered with the Tenant Services Authority. Housing Associations provide a variety of properties in the District including; general needs accommodation, HomeBuy properties, Key Worker homes, housing for older people, disabled adapted properties, sheltered accommodation and supported housing.

 

Housing Associations are responsible for the management of their properties and deal with issues including:

 

  • Estate management
  • Leaseholder information
  • Neighbour disputes
  • Rent
  • Rental of garages
  • Repairs and maintenance
  • Sheltered housing
  • Tenancy enquiries
  • Tenant and Resident Associations
