Noise
Because we receive many complaints about noise from barking
dogs, DIY, loud music, premises alarms and so on, we have produced
a range of noise advice leaflets that you can view or download from
the document section below.
These leaflets explain the law and give advice on how to avoid
causing a noise nuisance.
What you should do if you are being disturbed by a noise
In most circumstances the problem can easily be resolved by
politely telling the person about it, if they do not know it is a
problem they cannot deal with it. If after a reasonable amount of
time nothing has been done to solve the problem, you can register
your complaint with us.
