Contaminated Land

Rochford District Council has produced a Contaminated Land Strategy which was formally adopted in March, 2001, and is currently under review to keep up-to-date with changes to the contaminated land legislation.

The Strategy clearly sets out how land which merits detailed individual inspection within the contaminated land regime, will be identified in an ordered, rational and efficient manner.
