Pets and Floods

With our ever-changing climate, we seem to be experiencing extremes of weather, one day the weather may be hot, dry and sunny and the next it seems as if we are in the middle of winter with the rain pouring down! We have all seen the news reports of flooding devastating towns and villages, and unfortunately, these reports seem to becoming more frequent. Obviously we all hope that we will never have to experience floods first hand, but if the worst does happen, have you thought about what will happen to your pets?

Your pets will rely on you for their protection in the event of a flood, so it is a good idea to plan for such an eventuality. The Blue Cross in conjunction with the Environment Agency have produced a leaflet giving tips on what to do if the worst should happen.
