How to suggest a topic
Topics / areas for review can be suggested by members of the
public, representatives of external bodies, Council officers and
Members of the Council.
Topics can cover any area of the District Council's work and in
some cases the work of partner organisations that might affect the
community. Topics should be of community significance. (Concerns of
an individual nature should be pursued through the appropriate
service of the Council or local Ward Councillor.)
Suggestions will be considered by the Council's Review
Committee, which will determine whether the suggested item should
be taken forward for scrutiny. While it may not be the case that all
suggestions will make it into the Review Committee's work programme
all ideas are, nevertheless welcome.
