Albert Bugeja
Albert is the Council’s Monitoring Officer, a
statutory role with responsibility for ensuring the lawfulness and
fairness of the Council’s decision making, maintaining its
Constitution, supporting its Standards Committee and carrying out
investigations into alleged breaches of the Members’ Code of
Conduct. He is the Proper Officer for access to information. His
management responsibilities cover the area of legal services to the
Council, the provision of all functions relating to the Member
arena, including Council meetings and Members/ training and
development, property maintenance and asset management.
