Petitions

Rochford District Council operates a petitions policy, in accordance with the requirements of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009.

The procedure for creating and submitting an eligible petition is outlined in the Rochford District Council Petitions Policy, a link to which can be found at the bottom of this page. You should read this document prior to submitting your petition in order to ensure that it meets eligibility requirements. Petitions that do not meet these requirements will not be considered by the Council.
