Star Partnership
The Star Partnership brings together a wide range of statutory
agencies, community and voluntary organisations and individual
members. Its aim is to improve the lives of residents in the
District of Rochford with a special emphasis on those who live in
pockets of deprivation.
Star has been particularly effective in fostering strong links
between its partners. This has resulted in the creation of a
variety of projects which both involve and benefit local
communities. It has been extremely successful in raising funds for
its projects as grant-making bodies have recognised the
effectiveness of its partnerships. Star's achievements have
been facilitated by a Community Development Co-ordinator and by a
Community Leadership Team which oversees the Partnership.
