If you are planning to get married in Essex, or you would like to renew your wedding vows, you now have a wide choice of venues and options for enhancing your ceremony.
Civil Ceremonies
On 5th December 2005, the Civil Partnership Act was passed meaning same sex couples are now able to obtain legal recognition of their relationship. Registered couples have the same important rights and responsibilities as married couples.
The links below will take you to information about getting married in the Rochford District and the Essex County Council Website, where you can can explore the choices and obtain details of different venues. You can also find out about the legal requirements for marriage in a register office.
