Assisted Funerals

In certain circumstances, the council can make funeral arrangements, for those individuals who have died without family or friends to organise it on their behalf.

The council can also make arrangements where the next of kin are unable to pay, however if the next of kin are receiving benefits, it is advisable to contact the Department for Work and Pensions.
