If you need to arrange to have your pet cat or dog boarded whilst you are on holiday or for any other reason, Rochford District Council would strongly advise that you use only a Licenced Animal Boarding Establishment. Most boarding establishments will gladly allow you to visit and inspect their premises, although some may require that you do this by appointment only.

In addition to this, speak to friends and neighbours who have placed their animals at Boarding Establishments for their recommendations.
